“Korinnya, the Roots” - Exhibition Opening & Choir Performance

Please join us for the exhibition opening & choir performance by Ukrainian Space Plymouth (USP) on the 24th of February, 5:30-7 PM at The Plot, Union St, Stonehouse, Plymouth PL1 3EZ.

“Korinnya, the Roots” will be displayed for a month from the 24th of February, on the exterior wall of the former “Club 103”, Union Street, PL1 3EZ.

“Коріння” (transliteration: korinnya) - the Ukrainian word for the “roots”.

A month after Russia began its full-scale invasion of Ukraine on the 24th of February 2022, Ukrainian newcomers started to arrive in Devon under the “Homes for Ukraine” scheme. 3 years later, the war is still continuing - while many Ukrainian newcomers have managed to build a new life in the UK, their hope to return home has only grown stronger.
